Foundational movements and practices through hands-on, in-person experience. This is your entry point — and upon completion, you're authorized to instruct Reformer 1 classes independently. The Reformer 1 certificate requires 8 weeks of in-person training, 90 hours total, plus a midterm and final exam.

Movement formations, sequences and hands-on practice that build on Reformer 1. Another 23 in-studio hours and 90 training hours. The second major milestone toward your full instructor certification.
2.5hrs E-Learning
An interactive e-learning course bringing anatomy to life through guided exploration. 2.5 hours online plus 1.5 hours in-studio. No anatomy background required — this is designed for movement practitioners.
3.5 hours of e-learning
Covering the foundational principles behind the practice. A key step toward your Pilates Instructor and Integrated Movement Specialist certification.
23hrs in studio
The final in-studio module. Fine-tune your teaching abilities guided by experienced GRP instructors. 23 in-studio hours and 90 training hours. Complete all five steps to earn your full Grand River Pilates Instructor certification.
